Daniel Holloway

With more than a decade of trial experience, Dan Holloway is an elite legal writer and formidable trial advocate, committed to helping people who have been wrongfully harmed. Holloway graduated with honors from Georgetown Law School in Washington, D.C. He then served as a law clerk on the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Holloway began in private practice working for famed trial lawyer, David Boies, at Boies, Schiller & Flexner in New York. There, Holloway worked for eight years in commercial litigation. He worked on a variety of high-profile cases, including Pfizer’s defense in mass tort actions, Ernst & Young’s defense in an $8 billion accounting fraud case, and AIG’s defense in securities fraud class actions. Holloway comes to Bell Law Firm from South Dakota’s premier personal injury firm, Abourezk Law Firm. There he worked with Mike Abourezk, a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, handling insurance bad faith claims and appellate matters. Holloway played an instrumental role in securing a multi-million-dollar verdict against Travelers Insurance for claims of bad faith. He later graduated from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming. Holloway has spent several years studying the cognitive science literature and is writing a book on persuasion and advanced legal writing.
